Highlighting how important routine maintenance is to prevent failures and secure supplies.
During routine maintenance and servicing at a hospital, the Oil Circuit Breaker mechanism failed. It was noted that the drive pin from the mechanism had sheared.
Our customer feared he would need to replace the Intake HV Switchboard involving a huge cost and disruption to the hospital at this critical time. Our skilled engineers were able to effect a solution and carry out a part replacement and repair to the pleasure of the client and the trust. The breaker was repaired within 1 day and the critical breaker returned to service to enable the ring to be closed again and the hospital to have its security of a ring system back on without any disruption.
